Vine Award for Birth, Sex and Abuse
Birth, Sex and Abuse: Women’s Voices under Nazi Rule has now been awarded a Vine Award for Canadian Jewish Literature, in History. This is the eighth award Birth, Sex and Abuse has won!
The Vine Award is a significant new literary prize in Canada made possible by the Lillian and Norman Glowinsky Family Foundation and presented by the Koffler Centre of the Arts. The Vine Awards honour the best Jewish Canadian writing in five categories: Fiction, Non-Fiction, Young Adult/Children’s literature, History, and Poetry.
