Winner: Choice 'Outstanding Academic Title' Award

My book Birth, Sex and Abuse: Women’s Voices under Nazi Rule has now been awarded a CHOICE “Outstanding Academic Title” award.

The award is granted by the American Library Association to books on the basis of “ their excellence in scholarship and presentation, the significance of their contribution to the field, and their value as important –often the first – treatment of their subject” This award is granted to less than 3% of the 25,000 titles submitted to Choice during 2015.
